Randal (Randy) Larimer resides in Cisne, IL with his wife Pam, and daugter Kirstan. His daughter Crystal lives with her husband Shane, and their daughter Aisley in Indianapolis, Indiana. Randy’s passion for Civil War History is depicted in his detailed oil paintings, and in his sketches that are done during reenactments. Randy enjoys portraying Edwin Forbes, who was a sketch artist for the Frank Leslies Illustrated Newspaper during the Civil War. He is a member of the Bohemian Brigade. They are a group of reenactors that portray artists and reporters. Randy, like other Civil War Artists, is glad to keep the history alive.
